Thunderstorm of this High Summer

According to the weather report, the Expo site had experienced 38.4℃.
In the morning, it was still very hot.
By mid-noon, thunderstorm came crashing through, causing an instant but minor flash flood at the back street of the apartment block.
When the rain ended around 2 p.m., the temperature had been depressed by ten degrees to near 27.5℃.
Later of the day, the temperature climbed back up to 33.0℃.
High temperature, gusty wind, lightning and thunderstorm all came crashing through within the same day yesterday on August 4, 2010.
