Spring Shooting
Naw, nobody is flunked as yet.
Shot. No.
Not really shot but it's only shooting.
Just five tiny missles ready to be loaded...to serve my discriminate palate or taste buds.
Yeah, it's that spring season where bamboo shoots mushrooming across the land.
With plentiful rain and sunshine this season, bamboo shoots seem to be more succulent than ever.
Never really had fresh bamboo until living here in China; recalling, it was something my dad loved much.
Back then, they were all canned food and imports from China to Malaysia.
Since canned, the whole or shredded bamboo shoots tasted pungent in some respect, hence, I hardly acquired to like them much.
Getting them in abundance and easily accessible now as well as acquiring my impeccable taste for the fresh produce, I have had this twice last and this week.
Just couldn't help it but they are so so fresh and tasty.
No wonder those dark ring-eyed pandas love to do shooting also.
And they survive shooting off the best of produce.
