Lionel and Michelle Neo in Hangzhou
Hopping into Hangzhou for four consecutive days over the weekend when both Lionel and Michelle Neo arriving from Singapore for Lionel's cross country interview at HTG. Seizing this rare opportunity, I got two train tickets and left for Hangzhou with my co-worker Liu Yang. Indeed, it was pleasurable to deliver some verbal interpretation for Lionel during his long interview.
As always, good time is brief and never lasts but all melts in memories. Hangzhou is truly a place I fell in love at first sight for its exquisite beauty is so timeless. No doubt, with two all time famous legendary stories – The Legend of White Snake and Liang Shan Bo & Zhu Yintai - based on this part of China is enough to say it all.
There was so much to look at for every turn is a pretty sight. The natural beauty of West Lake merged well into the urban context; whereas, human and vehicular moving paces seemed to be slower than ever. It's so carefree, so casual, and so easy going.
I left my heart in Hangzhou for every trip there and somehow always resisting leaving for Shanghai.
For cherry blossom really charmed it all in these beautiful spring days.
