Nature's First Bloom of 2008

The very lovely sakura or cherry blossom.

Stitched photo above: On the far left, the triangulated Shanghai General Motor Headquarter with showroom inside. The HQ is one of the few state of art design with sensitive application of urban context with rather difficult narrow plot that eventually exuded highly skilful architectural result. Next to its right, currently the tallest tower in mainland China is the Shanghai World Financial Tower, with Jinmao coming in second tallest immediately behind. On the far right is the Entrance or Exit No.2 of Line 2 MRT Dongchang Station while Shanghai Stock Exchange Building could also be visibly seen.

Due to depleting stock at home, and it's high time to be out today on Sunday to pick up more grocery at Jing'an Temple area this morning, and along the way found the first bloom of sakura or cherry blossom for this spring 2008. Yesterday, Shanghai has also officially declared spring was in town after temperature rose above 10 degree Celcius in the last five consecutive days.
