Tianzi Square near Taikang Road, Shanghai, Part 2
Sept. 20th, 2008

Selecting from the menu above is the dinner shown below...

Around this part of Tianzi Square, the revitalization takes on better shape and moving in a healthier direction in congregating the neighborhood into a better scale environment as clearly shown by the interior refurbishments and commercial installments.

Apparently dressed up as commerical show, two women diligently at work in generating various lovely craftworks deriving from their Miao traditions.

Within a very limited square footage, many exquisite products can be displayed at the window.

The Tianzi Square arrived with the mental set to directly serve for the artsy-fartsies in low budget but personable scale environment.

Of course, a day of hanging out could not be fulfilled without some good food. Note this soup dish below shows how the food was served with the bowl wrapped in plastic sheet. I am not sure if this is an ideal way of keeping low in budget for avoiding or less washing after use, easy to toss, or otherwise.
Hardly enough and questing for more, the dinner appetite at another nearby minor operation Guangdong style restaurant 家有靓汤rounded up to the fried rice广东炒饭, dessert杂果西米露, fried casava潮州芋泥, chee-cheong fun猪肠粉, and another bowl of rice vermicelli meat ball soup上汤潮州牛肉丸.
