Meeting Dr. Koo Yew-lie at Amcorp Mall on Oct. 5th, 2008

Dr. Koo's dedication to English language has always been very impressive to me. She is also well reserved with great sense to acquire understanding in artistic esthetics as well as taste in food. It is precisely through the desire in wanting to know the meaning of art that we had come to know each other and become friends ever since. As usual, when we met, she had always treated me and friend with her beloved local cuisine, the nyonya food. Though rather brief in our rendezvous, we managed to still talk about life all things big and small.
