Blackboard Graphics

Blackboards are relatively common sights when walking around residential neighborhoods. Each of the residential neighborhood is administered by its Residential Committee, usually related to miscellaneous payments such as cable TV payments, matters regarding street cleaning, neighborhood cleanliness or security, public postings of jobs wanted, and of course, in disseminating public information. Blackboards are used for public notice as well as propaganda in general. The following are three well executed graphics on blackboards by the East Village Residential Neighborhood Committee. They were found on walls when walking by Tilan Bridge neighborhood, near Yangshupu Station of Metro Line 4 and Qinhuang Island Ferry Station, on the Hongkou District and neighboring to Yangpu District of Shanghai.
